16 Mar Community Update Mar 16
We hope this update finds you all healthy and continuing to hold a space for your own well-being. We are all a part of this supportive yoga community and we understand the therapeutic nature of our shared passion and the benefits from breathing, moving, and letting go. However, these extreme global circumstances have prompted much thought and discussion by the ownership and teachers about how to best serve our community.
In support of our local and state agencies and in line with Yoga Alliance recommendations and surrounding yoga and fitness professionals, we have made the decision to temporarily suspend in-person yoga classes immediately in Amesbury and at 8pm tonight in New Hampshire.
We will assess any new recommendations and health guidelines weekly and notify you of any changes.
As part of your membership, we will be offering pre-recorded classes on YouTube and live streaming classes on Facebook. Please bear with us as we work through the kinks these next couple days!
We will continue to research other platforms, but these provide ease of use to bring remote classes to you by Tuesday, March 17th. These classes will allow you to continue your practice with YOGASMITH teachers while we all do our part to follow social distancing guidelines to protect ourselves and those around us.
YOGASMITH STUDIOS YouTube Channel – new content will be posted as it is developed.
YOGASMITH Facebook Live – Our Facebook Live Class schedule will be released shortly.
We also know that people may need yoga more than ever right now, so feel free to share these videos with friends and family who may need them.
Let’s work together as a community to support each other and we will all come out stronger on the other side. We will be back in the studio soon.
Thank you for your support during this time.
Laurie Smith and the YOGASMITH Team
