WOMEN's WEEKEND WORKSHOP:
GENERATING AND INCREASING THE CREATIVE PRINCIPLE IN WOMEN
This weekend workshop will
give information on how to generate and increase the creative
principle in women through the proper practice and use of
yoga asanas and pranayamas.
Weekend Itinerary:
-Yoga Asana & Pranayama
-General Discussion on Ayurveda,
the Indian system of medicine and sister science to yoga –
how it applies to women specifically
-Various Stages of Womanhood
(the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, pre-menopause, post-menopause)
-Women’s specific health
concerns
Emma Balnaves is the coordinator
and teacher of Shadow Yoga. She also holds diplomas in Siddha
Medicine and Thanuology (marma shastra) and is continuing
her studies of Ayurveda in Kerala South India. Emma runs workshops
on Shadow Yoga, which also include special study programmes
for women based upon the above mentioned sciences.
